It's a Lovers day.
I finished my ribbed cowl eep! I made it for the loveliest lady who watched my son for me while I was in school. I have seriously been making something almost every day since my last day of my externship.I got this pattern from Knitscene's Fall Magazine and coincidently cast on the right number of stitches with this mustard yellow yarn the night before! It was meant to be. I love this Speer Cap.
Back to my Cowl.
I used my beloved peruvia quick to make this 1. because I really wanted to knit with it. (I couldn't wait to get the rest of my yarn to start Aidez) 2. It's gray chunky and just what I needed.
I'm listening to Lovers from their myspace page and I'm hearing songs that I've never heard! I saw this band live and I got to hang out with them and take pictures. I was a drunken mess and I bet they thought I was nuts. Definitely my favorite concert for the summer.![]() |

I Wish I could Go Back |
Back to knitting. I need to post my Beatnik Happening sweater, the felty felt slippers I finished yesterday, and Ian's bunny slippers he requested. Still need to finish the other. My poor child is sick with a fever today. So I should get back to his slippers so he has them to mope around in the rest of the day. I promise to blog more and in order of my projects. ....
"Every time the music starts I can feel my aching, shaking heart. Hey wait (oh we were both fire signs). You hold on, dear, like a barnacle on a ship of fears, and I’m out here like an island on a sea of tears. If I could tear you away. I would."-Lovers
over and out.
