More Where That Came From

 Walaa! Pictures of said hat/cowl that I knitted at the Rainbow Gathering. I had limited yarn supply so I mixed my colors together to make this eclectic number. I love it I love it!

 That leather strap was traded with some of that green yarn down at the trading circle.

 I'm not very good at getting hat pictures as well as the cowl side. You can see that its quite breezy as a hat. It failed to keep my head warm the night I finished it when I stood in the sushi line. I wouldn't recommend sushi at the rainbow gathering. I'm pretty sure it was canned salmon. It is definitely warm around the neck though. The first one I made is made with the purple yarn, I want it back :'(

I need to learn to be selfish with my knitting and keep EVERYTHING I make. ha ha ha ha but what's the fun in that!? Now to my other projects: First off is the Beatnik sweater by Nora Gaughan. Once I saw this on Ravelry I was obsessed. I immediately cast on with Lion brands fisherman's wool that I bought for father's day. (FO of that soon!)

 These are of the back. It took me awhile to finish it because I started my externship right as I got to the shoulder shaping and I had to set it down for awhile.

 Last weekend I was actually home and got to sit and drink beers with my one true and watch movies while I finished.  The movies were Passion Play with Mickey Rourke and Megan Fox (which actually was a good movie compared to horrible reviews. I actually felt like Megan Fox was an actress. I felt for her character which never happens) and The Roommate. Which is a good movie to get drunk to and make fun of ha ha ha.

I cast on for the front that same night but got a little queasy while knitting. This was on my way home from school. (Yes I knit and walk..rainbow side story..as I was knitting that purple howl some guy and his friends were walking behind me on the trail and we told the them they could pass us cause we were just wandering. As the guy passed he's all.."are you knitting??....  AND walking?!?!" cracks me up!)

I have two..maybe three more projects on the needles that I need to find and take pictures of. I haven't been the most organized knitter these days. Maybe I should do that right now. As I can't find my other projects to take pictures of. I promise they will be up soon....HEY! maybe even that red shrug will be up too :) signing off the unorganized knitter..leshmubloski.
