His Green Eyes

I totally got to knit with Berroco Yarn last weekend! I came across some much needed money last friday so Ian and I jumped on the bus to Bountiful. Hemstitched Heirlooms was our destination. Ian wanted me to knit Derek a hat and he picked out the yarn himself. I was leaning more towards the Borlieas but Ian walked up to this wasabi green and said "We have to get this mom because it matches his eyes" It happened to be Berroco's Vintage Chunky. Which knit up fast and soft and I loved every minute of it. He loved his fathers day present and it really does match his eyes. It's a little big because I was eyeballing the measurements and was waaaaaay off. Happy Father's day to that bubby lover of mine, without him I would be lost in the parenting world. We are extremely lucky to have him in our life and Ian knows how much Der loves him and he loves him back just the same. I love you Derek Griffith. You are the man of my dreams and the love of my life. Those green eyes are all mine.

I should be packing and getting ready for the Rainbow Gathering that will be in Washington. My lazyness takes over once again. I have a ton of hats and hand warmers I want to make so I can trade with them. I also have been itching to make tons of jewelry. I have soooo many beads that I can put to good use. But right now I need to get some projects finished and some new ones started. Peace Love and no Lazyness!
